EMBROIDERED IN THE SANDFriday, April 17, 2015
Until a particularly sunny (and warm, wow) afternoon last week, I had never taken advantage of the fact that the beach is literally at the end of my road - perfect place for shooting outfit pictures, no? If you squint your eyes it could may as well be L.A... wishful thinking gone too far I think. Ever since my love sprouted for the whole 70s spring/summer trend, I've been trying to inject pieces that reflect bohemian elements into my wardrobe. The white blouse pictured above is the likes I'd been scouring the depths of depop for, without luck of course, so cue The Vintage Corner - a vintage shop just around the corner (ha, see what I did there) from where I live. The shop is something I'd noticed for awhile but never ventured into and long story short - I feel like kicking myself for my absence as whilst browsing the rails I found this little gem in all it's embroidered glory. Not forgetting the lovely little black bag, which was £3 may I add - something I'd also coincidentally been searching for without score - maybe vintage shopping is the way to go from now on - I mean all that for ONLY £13, where can you go wrong?
